The 2002 National Storyteller of the Year® and winner of Parents’ Choice Gold and Silver Awards, a Storytelling World Winner Award and an iParenting Media Winner Award, Leeny Del Seamonds, Master Story Performer™, is acclaimed for creating animated, uplifting and interactive performances celebrating the human spirit, while inviting audiences to share in her Latino & Cuban-American sense of humor and joy of performing.
Leeny has been a headliner at the National Storytelling Festival, International Storytelling Center, and hundreds of major festivals, conferences, community events, corporate functions, museums, libraries, school systems and universities nationally and internationally. Leeny stars in the PBS Television and DVD series Ribert & Robert’s WonderWorld, a multi award-winning children’s program airing across the country and worldwide. As the show’s resident storyteller, she plays “Leeny the Story Performer,” and hopes someday storytelling will be part of every household!
