De Luna

Description

De Luna’s music can be described as music that can lift you from your everyday world to a place of inspiration and wonder. As a multi instrumentalist she plays: Lever Harp, Recorder, Bowed Psaltery, Bells and Native American flute and Storytelling (for adults as well as children). During her live performances she engages her audience asking for volunteers from the audience to come up and join on harp (she brings an extra harp to the concerts) and percussion instruments. Her concerts are a diverse offering of a variety of music depending on the audience and venue. Her Original Compositions have a world sound, inspired from many parts of the world, using diverse modes and rhythms. She also plays traditional music: Celtic music, Early Music and some popular music from the early 1900-2000's. She has been working with equipment that gives her the ability to lay down tracks live, building the music layer upon layer, using her harp, recorder, flutes, percussion and more. What fun!
