National Marionette Theatre has been awarded two Citations of Excellence by UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionette), the highest award in puppetry worldwide. They were the first American marionette company to receive this honor.
All members of the company have apprenticed/trained with many of the most popular puppet companies in America. Some of these include: Bil Baird Marionettes, Suzari Marionettes, Sid and Marty Kroft, The Center for Puppetry Arts & Vagabond Marionettes.
National Marionette Theatre brings everything required to perform the show. To assemble our staging, lighting and sound systems we require a clear space 22'w x 10'd x 10'h and two 20 amp outlets on separate circuit breakers. Setup takes 90 minutes.
